I was selected as Publicity Chair in January 2022 for Duke's chapter of the business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi. I oversaw the marketing transition from to their new image as a business fraternity from their former name (Duke Business Society).

Context and Research
The Beta Eta chapter of Alpha Kappa Psi at Duke University represents a diverse group of Duke undergraduates. As previously Duke Business Society, we first began considering transition into a new business fraternity in February, where we held an a general body meeting with all society members to analyze the pros and cons of the change.

After deliberating the pros and cons with the members of the society, we held an anonymous vote via a Google Forms link, where society members were given 10 minutes to select their choice. An overwhelming majority agreed that the pros outweight the cons, and voted in favor of transition into AKPsi rather than remain Duke Business Society.

One future goal of ours is to increase our visibilities in search engines such as Google and Bing. This involves creating more website pages, and this was one thing that I kept in mind as I expanded our site from one page to 5. This is one goal that I hope to continue pursuing as I further develop our website.
